PA Act 44 of 2009, Pension Reform Act Compliance
Chapter 7-A of Act 44 of 2009 mandates the annual disclosure of certain information by every Contractor which is a party to a professional services contract with one of the pension funds of the Municipality. Act 44 disclosure requirements apply to Contractors who provide professional pension services and receive payment of any kind from the Township’s pension fund. The disclosure form provides certain information regarding any financial relationships that may exist between the entities and the elected and appointed officials of the municipality to determine if a conflict of interest might be present.
The disclosure forms must be posted on the municipality's website and be filed and updated annually for the life of the contract between the municipality and each party.
